Recently, have you seen KOI cafe in Singapore? They are located in Toa Payoh, Marine Parade, Ang Mo Kio and China Town.  Although the price of a medium cup can be doubled from what you purchase at neighbourhood bubble tea stores, but I can guarantee you that KOI tastes so much more better.

The pearls are all free of charge (FOC) but please note that you shouldn’t eat too much if you are going on diet as it is starchy. You can also choose your sugar level but I would strongly recommend you take 70% sugar as it is very sweet if you take 100%. I have a sweet tooth and I find 70% is okay for me.

I been drinking bubble tea since it was launched in my secondary school days. I still remember some old brands during that time are “Happy Cup”, “Rockery”, and “Lucky Cup”.

And in Singapore, bubble teas stores were set up EVERYWHERE.

But none really satisfy my taste bud till I found KOI

So what are you waiting for? GRAB one cup of KOI…

P/S: If you tilt the word “KOI”, you would see the chinese character “豆” :-P
