I just got home from this movie “Poker King” at Ang Mo Kio HUB. Before I go into the review of this movie, those who are holding UOB cards and are thinking of watching movie in Cathay cinemas, remember to bring your UOB credit / debit card to enjoy $6 weekdays or $8 on weekends per ticket.
Basically, this is just a typical Hong Kong Comedy. The ending was what we expected or rather, the whole story plot was easy to guess. The actors and actress were all acting like children and I can’t control in the cinema and told my friend that I feel I am watching kids starring in the show.
I don’t deny that fact that Stephy is cute in the show but all the others are acting cute.
I would recommand watching on weekdays instead as this movie is not worth to spend more money on. Perhaps you can watch Jennifer’s Body by Megan Fox.
